Homecoming

(Written by mom on December 3, 2020) -Scott finished his mission with honor. His love for the people in Brazil was so evident when he came home! His arrival was pure joy for us all. It made me feel a bit of what heaven must feel like and I'm sure it'll be similar to what it's like when we arrive "home" in heaven above with loved ones who have been waiting for us. Scott missed Brazil the instant he left it! He kept saying to us "if you just dropped me off in any city or town in Brazil, I could be fine! I could get a job and be just great!" He really missed it but we sure were excited to have him home! It was so fun to hear all about his mission, see more pictures, drink and taste a bit of Brazil that he brought home for us to sample! His Homecoming talk was outstanding. He certainly had the "missionary glow". Scott, we are so proud of you and your service! Since your mission, you've had amazing experiences at BYU and now at the Mayo Clinic for Med School! We are so excited for you and your future. We are so proud of the man you have become and for your righteous desires to do good and continue to sharing the restored gospel in the world! May God continue to bless you in every endeavor and may you always know how much your parents love you and support you! These pictures maybe out of order a bit, but they recap the last bit of your mission and your Homecoming!
